Because I'm so sure we won't be hearing any cheesy tales from the streets of New York City, I'll let him explain why later.
I think it's a major downer that he won't be able to see the Emerald City for the first time, or find a sweaty New York (or Newark) studmuffin to do the wild thing with. But I'm stoked because I don't have to be jealous anymore, and he and I can work up some fantastic ideas for a trip to Manhattan when I'm able to be there too!
Like, things that are overrated, and we don't want to see, like:
- The Statue of Liberty (you can see it well enough from the Battery)
- Macy's on 34th Street (Macy's, Dillard's, Foleys, there all the same)
- Madison Square Garden (because it's not square, or a garden)
- Ellis Island (reserved for history buffs)
- Staten Island (might as well be New Jersey)
AJ, if I'm there too, you'll get to see the real Manhattan, as seen on Sex and the City.
